Day 1 - Tell us about your first camp. So it was in the summer between my 1st and 2nd year of high school way back in 2007. I was 14. Truth is, my bestfriend at the time talked me into it. We thought it would be a good idea just so that it could be a way for us to stay in touch while studying at different schools. There were parts that were incredibly boring and seeing how the people worshiped for the first time was pretty weird. I also had a hard time talking to people because I was shy and I spoke (rather exclusively) English. HAHAHA. I laughed and I cried and I made new friends. I didn’t really expect much out of it but it definitely turned out to be a life changing experience. I just didn’t know it at the time.
